Belleville, IL. (2/1/2023) Intensifying operations for cost-effective and competitive regional racing, the POWRi Late Model Division will launch the inaugural campaign of fifty sanctioned events slated for competition in 2023.
Currently, venues planning on participating in the debut season of the POWRi Late Models include Bolivar Speedway, Callaway Raceway, Lake Ozark Speedway, and Monett Motor Speedway with other facilities in negotiations for competitions as tracks form their yearly schedules.
Competing members will earn points based on a sliding scale system, as ten entries are considered a full field and receive full points, with the best twenty performances throughout the season judged in the yearly points chase. The highest points earner from the season will gain the honor of the 2023 POWRi Late Model Champion.
