Home-State Hopefuls Welcome Illinois Return of POWRi’s Junior Knepper 55

Belleville, IL. (12/5/2022) Gaining traction while growing in intrigue with the return to indoor racing of the speedy Southern Illinois Center on December 17th, POWRi will host the honoring of one of the state's most esteemed on-track legends with the renewal of the Junior Knepper 55. Boosting the who’s-who entry list of incredible talents will see many Prairie State competitors take center stage in hopes of honoring their home-state hero with a victory at DuQuoin.

Keeping the history and heritage of preserving family at the forefront of competition, an iconic Illinois racing family has thrown their respective names into the mix of entrants at the Junior Knepper 55. Featuring a Quatro of Camfield’s, whose pioneer patriarch(Dave Sr.) continues to be honored seasonally within POWRi; Devin, Dave Jr, Dave III, and Dalton from Decatur will all seek the front of the field at DuQuoin.

Witnessing skillful motorists from multiple disciplines entered from Illinois will also include the talented racing brother-duo of Tyler and Sean Robbins(Collinsville) as well as Chuck Walker(Herrin), Mickie Stirrett(Atwood), and Tyler Vantoll(Belleville) each attempting to pocket the prize of $5000 to win in the return of the Junior Knepper 55 at DuQuoin.

Expanding the ever-growing list of entries, competitors from the land of Lincoln will now begin to plan their efforts with the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League. Will a top talent of Illinois keep the awards in the hosting state with the return of the Junior Knepper 55 at DuQuoin on December 17th?
