Belleville, IL. (9/19/22) Limited to a pair of weekly venues hosting a late-season weekend of racing, the POWRi Midwestern Mods Division would witness intense battles for the top spots as National Championship quests take center stage. Weekend winners within the division would include Anthony Ferrera at Springfield and Earl Roark at Electric City Speedway as Jacob Carter earned the Springfield B-Class victory.
Controlling the top of the POWRi Midwestern Mod Divisional National Championship chase continues to find Pete Richardson narrowly leading Colt Cheevers by a slim forty point margin with Steve Muilenburg quickly climbing the rankings now only sixty points out of the top spot. Anthony Ferrera, Dayton Newell, Ben Newell, Earl Roark Scott Campbell, Jerad McIntire, and Garrett Thompson all stay within the striking distance in the overall seasonal standings to round out the running top ten.
