Belleville, IL (7/6/22) Adjusting to meet the demand of the ongoing and unprecedented nationwide tire shortage, Performance Open Wheel Racing Inc. and Hoosier Racing Tire have mutually agreed to re-open up the requirements on Right and Left Rear tires to any Hoosier tire compound or size, including all Chili Bowl Hoosier tires, for all STAND-ALONE POWRi West Midget League events until further notice.
For events held in conjunction with the POWRi National Midget League, Hoosier tires are required on all four corners; the right rear must be an SP2 or SP3. The left rear must be a D-12 or harder.
POWRi officials are monitoring the tire supply closely and will update further on a league-by-league basis. Future updates will be announced as soon as details for any rescheduling or cancelations are verified with corresponding venues.
