Belleville, IL. (6/19/22) Caleb Stelzig would seize the moment and race to his league-tying fifth career feature win over the weekend at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association with the POWRi Sunset Grill Vado Non-Wing Sprints.
Visiting the pristine and picturesque pits of Vado Speedway Park to celebrate Father’s Day Weekend, the POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association co-sanctioned with the POWRi Sunset Grill Vado Non-Wing Sprints would first witness the heat racing wins of Spencer Hill and Rick Ziehl each grabbing the early advantages as Spencer Hill would also earn the events high-point honors and start from the pole position in the twenty-five lap feature event.
Green-flag feature racing would find the third starting and 2021 NMMRA ROY Caleb Stelzig take the front of the field and hold off the hard-fought efforts of Caleb Saiz as Rick Zeihl finished out the podium placement in a fantastic twenty-five laps feature event.
Driving from starting ninth would find Dustin Cormany finish fourth, with Dylan Harris advancing eleven positions to round out the top-five finishers for the POWRi NMMRA/Sunset Grill Vado Non-Wing Sprints at Vado Speedway Park.
