Belleville, IL. (4/18/22) Continuing the early season stride of on-track sanctioned competition with many drivers attempting a run at a national championship, the POWRi Midwestern Mod Division would once again witness weekly racing throughout the region as two tracks canceled due to weather, four venues of speed would display outstanding racing over the weekend.
Sweeping the weekend with victories would find Colt Cheevers quickly climbing to the top of the season standings after grabbing wins at Electric City Speedway and Springfield Raceway A-Class. Garrett Thompson would double down on feature victories for the season by again winning at Monett Motor Speedway with Coleman Browning earning the first victory of the season at Valley Speedway as Derek Davis would win the feature win in the Springfield B-Class.
