Belleville, IL. (4/3/22) Expanding horizons for their second year of sanctioned competitions, the POWRi Super Stock Division would maintain the success of their premiering season while launching new premier facilities throughout the Midwest with the National Points Championship to be contended for from April 1st until November 1st by top-notch drivers.
Succumbing to the whims of early-April midwestern weather patterns, many area tracks would cancel due to saturated running grounds yet with three venues able to get their racing programs completed drivers from all over would want to get an early jump on the season standings. Midway Speedway would find Mark Davis victorious as Devon Andrews claimed the checkers at Old No. 1 Speedway, with last year's national champion contender Donnie Miller quickly gaining his first feature win of the season at Legit Speedway Park.
