Belleville, IL. (4/9/26) - POWRi Racing and track officials have made the difficult decision to cancel the POWRi WAR Sprint League event scheduled for Friday, April 10, at US 36 Raceway, due to ongoing inclement weather and unfavorable track conditions.
Persistent rainfall from the previous weekend and into the early part of the week, combined with additional precipitation expected Thursday through Friday and colder temperatures, have left the facility overly saturated and unable to provide a safe and competitive racing surface despite the continued efforts of the US 36 Raceway staff.
With continued weather impacts and little opportunity for track recovery, officials made the decision early to allow teams the opportunity to adjust their plans and explore other racing options for the weekend, rather than risk further complications with the event.
POWRi WAR and US 36 Raceway officials are actively working together to secure a reschedule date, with updates to be announced once finalized.
POWRi WAR teams will now shift their focus to their new season opener on Friday, May 1, at US 36 Raceway.
All POWRi WAR Sprint League events will be streamed live from Start2Finish, offering all-encompassing exclusive content, LIVE and ON-Demand coverage, and original programming at www.s2ftv.com.
