PRELIMINARY NIGHTS UNVEILED FOR HOCKETT/McMILLIN MEMORIAL

PRELIMINARY NIGHTS UNVEILED FOR HOCKETT/McMILLIN MEMORIAL

WHEATLAND, MO. (September 10, 2019) – With another substantial car count expected, the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League portion of the ninth annual Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial at Lucas Oil Speedway will once again feature split preliminary nights. A full list of competitors scheduled to run on Thursday’s Mesilla Valley Transportation night and Friday’s Rockwell Security night can be found at the bottom.

At the conclusion of pre-entry, 58 drivers have signed-on for competition in this year’s event scheduled for September 19-21. Much like last year’s field that drew in 78 entries, WAR Sprint League officials are expecting additional entries to pour in throughout the next week and at the track.

Fear not if you failed to pre-enter, entry to the Hockett/McMillin Memorial will remain open until the conclusion of pill draw on Friday night. You can mail your entry to 1660 Fox Drive Martinsville, IN 46151, email it to warsprintcarseries@gmail.com, or show up at the track. Entry is now bumped to $100 with pre-entry in the rear view mirror.

You can find an entry form at http://www.powri.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=545382.

As far as format goes, the preliminary nights will remain the same as 2018 with group qualifying, heat races, qualifiers, B-Main, and a 25-lap feature. Saturday’s show will see a slight change with qualifiers added to the program. A full breakdown of the entire event format will be released tomorrow.
