(5/31/25) Kevin Thomas Jr would lead the final twenty-three laps in championship night of the Avanti Windows & Doors CornBelt Clash at Knoxville Raceway featuring the Wholesale Batteries POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League, running in conjunction with the USAC National Sprint Cars, to notch his second career feature victory and pocket the $15K winning payday.
Engaging at the iconic Knoxville Raceway with thirty-one entries, POWRi WAR/USAC National Sprints would find Mitchell Moles set the quickest qualifying time of 18.868-second lap as CJ Leary, Ryan Bernal, Kale Drake, and Gunnar Setser each earned heat racing victories with Chase Stockon taking semi-feature wins.
Kick-starting the initial green flag start with high-point qualifier Jake Swanson and CJ Leary lined up in the front row, Jake Swanson would gain the lead on the opening lap with Justin Grant, and Kevin Thomas Jr attacking into the early contending podium spots.
Taking the lead on lap eight would find Kevin Thomas Jr blanketing the field out front as Ryan Bernal, Kyle Cummins, Justin Grant, and Gunnar Setser battled inside the top five after early race cautions.
Separating from the field by nearly a two-second winning margin, Kevin Thomas Jr would lead the final twenty-three laps to emerge victorious with the POWRi WAR/USAC at Knoxville Raceway to notch his first yearly league victory. Staying in the hunt, Ryan Bernal would finish runner-up as Kyle Cummins completed the final podium placements.
Challenging closely behind would find Justin Grant finish fourth as Gunnar Setser rounded out the top-five finishers for the Wholesale Batteries Inc. POWRi WAR/USAC at Knoxville Raceway in the weekend's concluding event.
