POWRi Sprint & Midget Leagues Plan for Missouri Weekend

Belleville, IL. (5/11/22) Excitement continues to build surrounding the weekend traditions of open-wheel action with the Lucas Oil POWRi National & West Midget Leagues linking up with the Lucas Oil POWRi WAR Sprint League in a pair of high-profile adrenaline rush events on May 13-14.

Currently, within the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League presented by Realty Connect standings, Cannon McIntosh has once again risen to the top of the championship chase with a trio of top-five performances over the first five feature events in 2022. Bryant Wiedeman remains close to the top of the standings only thirty points behind with Brenham Crouch, Taylor Reimer, and the red-hot Chase McDermand rounding out the top-five drivers in the points picture.

Early seasonal racing within the Lucas Oil POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League, the lone event ran in conjunction with the recently launched Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Series at Lake Ozark Speedway has been the only competitional event completed in 2022 with multiple events suffering cancelations due to unfavorable weather conditions. Currently, event winner CJ Leary rides atop the points championship standings with Wesley Smith, Jack Wagner, Kory Schudy, and Zach Daum all inside the top-five heading into the two days of action.
