Belleville, IL. (5/10/22) Witnessing a tale of two differing weather nights, the POWRi Midwestern Mods would see Mother Nature once again dictate the weekend racing adventures with six separate venues canceling due to unfavorable conditions. With all of the racing action washed away on Friday, many regional facilities would see an increase of entrants on Saturday with many drivers searching for dry running grounds as Earl Roark, Garrett Thompson, Jerad McIntire, Robert Bell, and Coleman Browning all gained feature victories.
Currently, within the POWRi Midwestern Mod Divisional National Championship chase, Pete Richardson leads the way by grabbing a pair of feature wins throughout nine solid showings in the seasonal racing. Colt Cheevers, Jerad McIntire, Anthony Ferrera, and Eric Tinderholt are all locked into an intense battle rounding out the top-five drivers in the national points standings as of May 8.
