Felker and Benson Take Wins at Belle-Clair
Belleville, IL – Andrew Felker of Carl Junction, Missouri overtook Zach Daum in the final laps of the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series feature event to earn his sixth-career victory with the series, on a two-in-a-row victory streak after his win last week at Macon Speedway. Nathan Benson of Concordia, Missouri utilized lap traffic to pick off Slater Helt for his second Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series victory of 2016, his 17th victory with the series.

National Midgets and Micros Head to Belle-Clair Friday, Midgets Invade I-55 with World of Outlaws Sprint Cars on Saturday
Belleville, IL – After an eventful double header weekend at Jacksonville Speedway Friday night and Macon Speedway on Saturday night, both the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series and the Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will head back to the high-banked fifth mile of Belle-Clair Speedway on Friday, April 29th for the Spring Fling. On Saturday, April 30th the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series will make the short trek over the Mississippi River to run alongside the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in the Spring Classic at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri.

MIDGET SANCTIONS AGREE ON 3-YEAR RPM LIMIT RULES
Officials of the United States Auto Club (USAC), POWRi and ARDC Midget Series today jointly announced a rule which will unify engine platform-specific RPM limits in all sanctioned races, effective May 29, 2016. This commitment to RPM limits constitutes a three-year commitment and any uniform limit modifications will be determined through on-going data analysis obtained through actual on-track racing.

Shebester Stands Victorious At Inaugural Visit To I-30 Speedway
Tulsa,OK | April 17, 2016: An overcast day, would not stop 19 POWRi West drivers from signing in for competition at I-30 Speedway, for what would prove to be a great night of racing. Tucker Klaasmeyer, Austin Brown, and Ty Hulsey would all win heat races. The Integrity Customs High Point man of the night was Jason McDougal. Thanks to CIMCO Inc. the top 4 in passing points took to the track for 4 lap dash for cash. Jason was joined by Anton Hernandez, Andrew Deal and Steven Shebester. While it looked like Deal would get the win Shebester got by him in just the right moment as Shebester would win the dash.

Sherrell Denies Last Lap Slider To Claim POWRi West Win
Muskogee, OK | April 16,2016: 17 cars signed for competition at the fast track of Outlaw Motor Speedway last night, as fans from across several states packed the grand stands. Jason McDougal and Steven Shebester would win heat races but It would be Blake Edwards taking the Integrity Customs High Point honors. During intermission Blake would choose a young man named Levi to come roll the dice for him, and boy Levi was excited. A big roll would see the dice landing on 6 and would put Blake on the 3rd row of the nights feature.

Bruns WINS POWRi/ILLINI D-II Season Opener
Competitors came out in droves for the debut of the Nutech Seed DII Midgets. The class, which is part of the POWRi Lucas Oil DII Midget tour, had 24 entries for the night's activities. When the green waved, Champaign, IL driving veteran Patrick Bruns shot to the front of the pack with young gun Hunter Lane in the second spot. With just a couple of yellows slowing the pace, and one red flag for a wild flip in turn three, the cars paced the oval at high speeds.

Benson Hold off Miller and Camp, Takes Micro Season Opener
Belleville, IL – Nathan Benson of Concordia, Missouri conquered the Speedway Motors POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro Series feature at Belle-Clair Speedway after a hard fought battle with Jeremy Camp, and holding off a hard charging Joe B. Miller to snag the season opener victory. Benson started on the front row outside of Lucas Pejakovich for the start of the 20 lap main event. At the drop of the green, Pejakovich looked to have the advantage over Benson and Jeremy Camp until Pejakovich clipped the infield tire exiting turn four. However, Pejakovich would save it, ultimately losing spots, but the caution would fly for Tyler Robbins in the middle of turns three and four.

POWRi DII Midgets Set For Opener At Lincoln IL Speedway
Belleville, IL – The Lucas Oil POWRi Division II Illini Midget Series will kick off this Friday, April 15th at Lincoln Speedway. Korey Weyant of Springfield, Illinois took the checkers back in October, going down in history as the winner of the first ever POWRi Lucas Oil D II-sanctioned midget race. The ILLINI Racing Series will be celebrating their 25th year of operation in 2016 as they join forces with POWRi and race under the POWRi banner.

Sherrell Takes Career First National Victory at Port City

Third Annual Turnpike Challenge
Belleville, IL – The Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series will kick off the 2016 season at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Third Annual Turnpike Challenge. Open practice will take place Thursday night, March 31st, with racing taking place on Friday, April 1st and Saturday, April 2nd. The 1/8th mile oval will host the POWRi West Midget Series in addition to the National Series for this co-sanctioned event.
