2nd Annual Gator Dirt Nationals
The Southern States Division II Midget Series would like to extend an invite to all the Division II midgets from across the nation. The POWRi D-2 Midwest...POWRi D-2 Northeast...POWRi D-2 Southeast along with IMRA...IRS...Ohio D-2...USAC-DMA...USAC HPD-D2 and others are invited to be part of The Super Bowl of Racing at one big 3 day event with the Lucas Oil Super Late Models at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick Ga. Feb. 4-5-6. 3 complete shows with the same format as last year in locking in the top ten in points after nights 1 and 2. Fri. nights Race Of Champions will also be back.

POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micros head to Belle-Clair Speedway
Millstadt, IL – Friday, September 4th, the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will head to the historic Belle-Clair Speedway for a solo event, as the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series will be off until the following weekend. Known for its spectacular side-by-side racing and close finishes, the high-banked fifth mile hosts some of the best racing in the metro Saint Louis area. Previous winners at Belle-Clair include Dereck King, Aaron Andruskevitch, and Joe B. Miller. Miller, on a two race win streak including the Knepper Memorial and most recently Lincoln Speedway, carries a boatload of momentum heading into Belle-Clair.

Sherrell Scores Summer Showdown Night 2!!
Matt Sherrell and Michelle Decker would bring the field to green with Sherrell taking the early advantage. Side by side action would begin amongst the top 5 of Decker, Shannon McQueen, Blake Edwards, and Anton Hernandez. The nights first caution would fly on lap 4 for a stalled AJ Burns, he would refire and tag the back of the field. The field would continue battling for another 4 laps when caution would wave for Ty Hulsey who came to a stop off the top of turn 4 he would refire and join the rear of the field.

Bayer Scores Night 1 Summer Showdown Thriller
Tulsa, OK| August 21, 2015; On a night where the weather was perfect for racing, 27 Lucas Oil POWRi West Midgets signed in for the opening night of the Summer Showdown. Drivers representing Colorado, California, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma combined to form a highly decorated field of cars. The nights four 8 lap heat races were won by Michelle Decker, Kevin Bayer, Grady Chandler, Anton Hernandez. A single 12 lap B-Feature was won by Ty Hulsey.

Daum & Miller Clean House at Lincoln Speedway
Lincoln, IL – Zach Daum of Pocahontas, Illinois “Dauminated” the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series feature, showing that the two-time POWRi champion has recovered from the vicious Australian wreck that sidelined him for a majority of the 2015 season, and is on track to return to this winning ways. Joe B. Miller of Millersville, Missouri led all 20 laps of the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series feature, cruising to his 17th career victory.

POWRi Idle Until Lincoln Speedway on Friday, August 21st, Macon August 22nd
Millstadt, IL – After three straight weekends of racing, including the coveted Ironman 55 event at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, both the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will be idle until Friday, August 21st. On Friday, August 21st both divisions will make the trip to Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois to run in conjunction with the 2015 Illinois State Fair. This is the only scheduled trip to the sweeping ¼ mile track for 2015. In 2014 POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series competition, previous winners include Chett Gehrke, Tanner Thorson, and Bryan Clauson. In POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series competition, previous winners in 2014 include Aaron Andruskevitch and Jeremy Camp.

Messeraul Snags Third-Career POWRi Victory
Pevely, MO – Thomas Messeraul, formerly hailing from San Jose, California and now residing in Indianapolis, Indiana led all 30 laps of the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series feature, co-sanctioned with the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget Series to earn his third career win. Messeraul’s first victory of 2015 came at the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 for the final night of the Ironman 55 weekend, while his last POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series victory came in 2009.

Thorson Deflects Bell, Earns Prelude to the Ironman Victory
Pevely, MO – The series’ first appearance at Federated Auto Parts Raceway since 2008, Tanner Thorson of Minden, Nevada survived a grueling battle with Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports teammate Christopher Bell to earn his second POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series victory of 2015, taking the “Prelude to the Ironman.”

POWRi National Midgets Head to Federated Auto Parts Raceway
Millstadt, IL – The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget Series will head to the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th for the Ironman 55. Running in conjunction with the World of Outlaw’s Sprint Car Series, this will be POWRi’s first appearance at the high-banked 1/3rd mile track since 2008. On Saturday, the UMP DIRTcar Modifieds will be added to the docket, as fans will be able to get a nice mix of both open wheel and stock car racing.

Bayston & Miller Take 24th Annual Knepper Memorial Victories
Belleville, IL – Spencer Bayston of Lebanon, Indiana earned his second-career POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series feature victory, outlasting several cautions and a red, to become the winner of the 24th Annual Arnie Knepper Memorial at Belle-Clair Speedway. Joe B. Miller utilized lap traffic to overtake Chris Cochran and win the 20 lap POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series feature event, his 16th career series win.
